Frederick Freddy Haddad

Fredrick "Freddy" Haddad, 58, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2007 after a long illness.

Born in Akron, Freddy graduated from Buchtel High School in 1967 and the University of Akron in 1969. Freddy worked at Melch's Salad, Nichols Bakery, Red Barn, and W.G. Lockhart Construction Co. Freddy will be remembered as a life-long Detroit Tigers fan, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, and for his zest for life. A people person, Freddy possessed a witty humor, a friendly smile and showed strength and courage in his years of poor health.

Preceded in death by parents, Fredrick and Evelyn and aunts, Gloria and Dorothy Haddad, Freddy is survived by the love of his life and girlfriend of 10 years, Sue Markoff; son, Nicholas (Amy) Haddad; daughter, Monica Lynn Haddad; brother, Richard (Cindy) Haddad; aunt, Gertie Shadeed; many cousins and all his extended family at Rocco's Pizza.

Many thanks to the staff of Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital cancer and radiology departments for their kindness and compassion.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 810 Portage Trail. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Falls Cancer Club, P.O. Box 3244, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
