Jennie DeLores 'Lois' Smith

On December 26, 2009 the Lord brought his child back to be with Him.
Jennie was born December 28, 1949 to the late Lundy and Ernestine Robinson. Jennie graduated from John R. Buchtel High School in 1967 and attended Akron University for a year. Jennie worked for numerous years at both Cuyahoga Falls and Akron City Hospital in housekeeping. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer 'Tiny' Smith; brothers, Larry and Tyrone Robinson; nine aunts; one uncle; and dear friend, Willie Wright. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughter, Karketa Smith of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, De'Marreah of Euclid, Ohio, D'Aisha and DaNa'e, both of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Freddie Mae Brooks of Nashville, Tenn., Carol Ann Williams and Barbara Terrell, both of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Lundy (Brenda) Robinson, Thomas, James 'Pee-Wee' Robinson, all of Akron, Ohio; 24 nieces and nephews; 31 great-nieces and nephews and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews; best friends, Joyce Lomax and Helen Wright.
The family would also like to thank the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital for all of the support and care of Jennie.
