John R. Buchtel High School, Akron, Ohio,Class of 1967 gift that was also demolished
John R. Buchtel High School.
We left prepared to do battle in the war of life, physically, mentally, academically, and spiritually.
Our building was demolished (check out the Photo Album) and replaced by a beautiful new facility which opened in 2012.
Changes reflect the progressive nature of our world today.
As a remembrance, several classmates donated to a fund:
'Immortalization Bricks' for $50. We purchased a class gift brick entitled: The Class of 1967. Our brick is inlaid onto the entryway into the high school side.
