Dennis A. O'Brien (Denny)



Dennis A. O'Brien (Denny), 66, a resident of Bath Township, and America's guest, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2014.



Before his retirement in 2013, Mr. O'Brien was a vice-president at R.H. Downing, Inc., Akron, where he worked for over 30 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran prior to receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. He attended Copley High School and graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Marketing. Denny served as a Trustee at Fairlawn Country Club, where he spent many hours on the golf course and in the Men's Grille. He was also a member at the Sharon Golf Club.



Denny leaves his daughter, Shannon (Matt) Manning; and precious granddaughter, Madison of Denton, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Sherri O'Brien; and too many friends and acquaintances for the typesetters to list.



Lastly, many thanks to the staff at Ken Stewart's Grille for their years of patience.



Calling hours 4 to 8 Friday at the Ciriello and Carr Fairlawn Chapel, 39 S. Miller Rd., 44333. Mass of Christian Burial and Military Honors beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Private inurnment at Western Reserve National Cemetery.
