Walt Blateric age 89, entered into rest peacefully Tues., December 18th.

Walter was the loving husband to the late Edith; he was the beloved son of the late Catherine and Stephen;
loving brother of Helen Blateric, Violet Blateric and the late Paul; dearest uncle of Stephen L.; dear friend of many.

Funeral Services will be held Friday Dec. 21, 12 noon at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME, 3653 W. Market Street, Fairlawn, where the family will receive friends 10 a.m. until time of service.
Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park.

Walt was a beloved teacher and coach in the Akron School System from 1953 to 1987.
He taught at Buchtel and Garfield High Schools during his career. He taught World History, Geography, Health,
and Physical Education.
He was also an Athletic Director and a very successful coach of Basketball, Football and Track.
He won many championships and trophies during his coaching career.
Walt was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a man that was very conscientious, helpful, fair, had a great sense of humor,
he was a loyal friend to many, always followed the rules and was very dependable.
He has lived well, laughed often and loved much.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
