Barbara S. Colman, 61, died Dec. 4, 2010 after a battle with multiple sclerosis.
She was born Nov. 8, 1949 in Akron, Ohio, was a graduate of Buchtel High School, and went on to work for the City of Akron Water Dept. Barbara was adept in making her own clothes and playing the piano, accordian and the organ.
She was preceded death by parents, Morris and Rebecca Colman; brother, Burton Colman; uncle, Harry Liberman; aunt, Julia Liberman. She is survived by brother, Jack Colman of Akron and many relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Gordon-Flury Memorial Home. In lieu of other remembrances, family suggests donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
