Obituary



G. Harry Weir, 93, of Cape Coral, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 1998. Born in Paris, Ontario, Canada, he had moved to Florida in 1968 from Barberton, Ohio.



He was a teacher at Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio for many years, retiring in 1968, and was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge in Ohio.



Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Mildred L. Weir of Cape Coral; one daughter, Sandra L. Manning of Cape Coral; one son, Thomas G. Weir of Indiana; one step-son, Kenneth E. Mathews of Alabama; one sister, Evelyn Janes of Westfield, Mass.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



The funeral is private under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
