Barbara S. Colman, 61, died Dec. 4, 2010 after a battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born Nov. 8, 1949 in Akron, Ohio, was a graduate of Buchtel High School, and went on to work for the City of Akron Water Dept. Barbara was adept in making her own clothes and playing the piano, accordian and the organ.

She was preceded death by parents, Morris and Rebecca Colman; brother, Burton Colman; uncle, Harry Liberman; aunt, Julia Liberman. She is survived by brother, Jack Colman of Akron and many relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Gordon-Flury Memorial Home. In lieu of other remembrances, family...

O'Dell Daniels, Sr., 57, passed away August 20, 2005 after a long courageous battle with his illness.

O'Dell was a lifelong resident of Akron and attended Akron Public Schools and the University of Akron. O'Dell was employed by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. after graduating from Buchtel High School in 1967.



In 1975, O'Dell was sworn in as an Akron Police Officer and later was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
